Over the years, mainly thanks to ESF funding, we have managed to produce various e-learning materials for units within HNC/D Computing. The list has grown slowly and is pretty impressive. In fact, you could use it to offer an entire qualification online. Caroline reminded me a few days ago of the URL where the material is located and I thought I'd pass it on. It's here. I'd be interested to know, from those of you who have used it, what it is like.

ReplyDeleteI have just discovered the e-learning materials for HNC/D Computing, which look to be very useful.
I have a question concerning the Professional Issues in Computing unit. The unit number on the material says FONO 34, but this is a Level 8 unit and should be FONO 35.
Having taught this unit since its inception, there are 5 Outcomes but only 4 are shown on the on-line material. Do you know why this is?
We are about to make this unit available to distance learning students so would appreciate your feedback please.
I have also added links to some of the units I teach, combining our moodle courses with these materials.
