NC review

Angela and I met with Walter Patterson this morning to discuss the review of National Certificate provision. Many of you will know Walter from his HMI days. Walter is leading the recently announced review of the National Certificate awards in Computing/IT.

The purpose of the meeting was to agree what needs to be done during the current financial year. We agreed a lot of tasks - but the key one is the creation of a development plan.

I intend to consult widely during this review - using this blog, the dedicated online community, occasional letters and some face-to-face meetings - the first one of which will take place in March next year when we can discuss the various options that Walter comes up with.

Don't forget to subscribe to the National Certificate online community if you want to keep up to date with developments.

If you are interested in this development please subscribe to the online forum, more information will follow in the New Year.
